Services & Pricing

  • At this time, we operate in the following areas:

    • Mount Pleasant, Crawford, and Jordan

    • Anywhere within a 5 mile radius of Mt. Pleasant

    • We also service college students at Central Michigan University, Mid-Michigan Community College, and Tribal College

    • Standard - $1.80 per pound for one time service. $25 minimum order fee.

    • Standard - $1.70 per pound for weekly and bi-weekly recurring service. $25 minimum order fee.

    • Hypoallergenic - $1.85 per pound for one time service. $25 minimum order fee.

    • Hypoallergenic - $1.75 per pound for weekly and bi-weekly recurring service. $25 minimum order fee.

    • Students - Enjoy an additional $.10 on all service options.

  • On the day or evening of your scheduled pick-up, our driver will arrive within the designated time window.

    Please have your items ready in a bag of your choice (such as garbage bags or reusable bags). We kindly ask that you separate any stained items or those requiring special care, as we are unable to read individual washing instructions.

    Additionally, please ensure that all pockets are checked. Imperial Clean & Care cannot be held responsible for items lost in the wash or damaged by items left in pockets (such as chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).

    Once your laundry is picked up, it will be in our capable hands!

    Your order will be serviced within 48 hours and delivered by 5pm on the day of delivery once payment is processed. (Most orders delivered next day!)

  • Your clothes will be returned by 5pm on the day of delivery. (Unless your payment method was declined)

  • We do NOT offer dry cleaning.

  • Yes. There is a $25 minimum on all orders.

  • Yes, larger items will be charged on a per item basis. These will include:

    • Comforter: Twin/Full $30

    • Comforter: Queen/King $40

    • Quilt: Twin/Full $20

    • Quilt: Queen/King $30

    • Mattress Pad/Duvets/Throw Blankets: $20

    • Bath Mat: $5

    • Sleeping Bag: $15

    • Dog Bed: $20

    The reason we charge separately for these items is because they require washing and drying to be separated from the rest of your order. Larger items in particular can take several hours to dry.

  • We do NOT wash rugs.

  • When customers bring in their laundry, we first weigh it to establish the initial weight. After laundering, the items are weighed again to determine the final weight, which will be used for billing.

    Since laundry is often wet upon arrival, we do not charge based on the incoming weight. Instead, your order will be billed according to the final weight after laundering is complete.

  • We do NOT offer ironing.

How can I prepare for my laundry pick-up?

  • Any kind of cinchable bag! Trash bags work great!

    Unfortunately, we are not able to accept items that are not bagged, laundry baskets, or laundry hampers.

  • No, leave the sorting to us!

  • No, we are unable to check every pocket. Imperial Clean & Care is not responsible for items that are lost in the wash or damaged due to items left in pockets (crayons, pens, markers, Chapstick, lipstick, etc.)

  • Imperial Clean & Care follows best practices for cleaning on all orders. Items are separated lights, darks, and whites. We wash in cold water and use medium heat for drying.

    We offer options for hypoallergenic detergents for those with sensitivities.

    Remember, you can always request specific instructions on the booking screen or email imperialcleanandcare@outlook.com.

  • We are NOT able to read individual label washing instructions. Items that need special care may be placed in a separate bag with instructions for our launderer.

  • When you book online, you will be asked if you want to give any special instructions.

    You may email imperialcleanandcare@outlook.com with special instructions that can be permanently added to your account.

    For one-time special instructions, please include a note with your order and text (989-408-5738) or email them to Imperial Clean & Care.

  • Yes, it's laundry! Allow us to take all of your laundry off of your to-do list!

  • No, we will do that for you. If you are wanting an estimate, we kindly ask you use a scale at home. The weight of your clothing is done after laundering service is complete.

  • Contaminated Items (We are unable to accept items that may pose a risk to the safety of our team or the integrity of other customers' belongings cleaned in our facility. This includes items that have been contaminated with):

    • Bodily fluids (Human or pet)

    • Hazardous chemical residue

    • Poison ivy or poison oak oils

    • Excessive pet hair

    • Tar

    • Mildew

    • Bedbugs

    • Moisture (if the item is still wet or damp)

    Specialty care clothing or dry cleaning only items (These items require specialty care that is outside of our expertise):

    • Wedding dresses

    • Purses/Handbags

    • Shoes

    • Hats/Headwear

    • Fur & Animal products (fur coats, feathers, etc)

    • Vintage clothing

    Non-clothing items (These items require specialty equipment and cleaning processes that we are not able to provide):

    • Rugs

    • Pillows

    • Curtains

    • Sofa covers

    • Commercial linens

Pickup & Delivery

  • At this time, we operate in the following areas:

    • Mount Pleasant, Crawford, and Jordan

    • Anywhere within a 5 mile radius of Mt. Pleasant

    • We also service college students at Central Michigan University, Mid-Michigan Community College, and Tribal College

  • Your pick-up/drop-off location should be a safe and secure area where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. While this may vary for each customer, common locations include the front door, porch, or a secure gated area. Please be advised that our drivers are not permitted to enter any privately owned spaces, including homes, apartments, vehicles, or garages.

  • Your clothes will be returned by 5pm on the day of delivery. (Unless your payment method was declined)

  • We understand that things happen! To help you remember, we send email and text reminders, but we know life can sometimes interfere.

    To compensate for the driver’s time, there will be a $10 missed pick-up fee. We can reschedule your pick-up for the following week on your usual route day. If you'd like your items washed that week, we can return later that day or the following day for an additional $10 rush fee.

  • As soon as possible! This is particularly recommended for duvets and comforters. Due to humid conditions and the presence of feathers, it can be challenging to fully dry large bedding items. There is a possibility that they may require additional time to air dry at home.

Payment & Billing

  • Yes, there is a $25 minimum fee on all orders.

  • Yes, larger items will be charged on a per item basis. These will include:

    • Comforter: Twin/Full $30

  • An invoice is sent upon completion of laundering services. Your credit card will be charged once your order is complete. If the card is declined due to expiration, loss, account closure, or insufficient funds, your order will not proceed to the delivery phase. Once your payment is successfully processed, your order will be delivered the next business day.

  • We understand that things happen! To help you remember, we send email and text reminders, but we know life can sometimes interfere.

    To compensate for the driver’s time, there will be a $10 missed pick-up fee. We can reschedule your pick-up for the following week on your usual route day. If you'd like your items washed that week, we can return later that day or the following day for an additional $10 rush fee.

  • Included with your service is a fresh scent detergent or an unscented free & clear option. You may also send in your own detergent.

    Whites are laundered with OxiClean, unless something else is requested.
